WORKERS COMPENSATION insurance

What is important to you?
The most common question we get is, “How long does it take you to get a certificate of insurance to our customers?”

We will typically get a certificate of insurance out in less than 30 minutes. We have staff in place to handle these requests, on demand. We have back-up staff in place to help if needed. Our philosophy is: “What good does it do to have insurance if your customers can’t be notified in a timely manner?”

Do You Have Payment Plans?

One of the things we notice often, is our customers like the flexibility of monthly payments. If that is important to you, many of our companies offer monthly payment plans. This can be important if you are a newer business, you may not have the capital required to pay for the entire year. If you are an established business, you may choose to pay the entire premium up front and save billing fees or pay monthly and have the extra capital to operate your business. Either way is fine and most of our companies offer both.

How Quickly Can My Business Get This Coverage Going?

In most cases, we can rate your workers compensation insurance in a matter of minutes and get a very accurate rate. If there are no unforeseen complications, we can usually get that policy placed immediately or as soon as the next business day. It really depends on the company you choose, whether it starts now or the next business day. Also, all of the insurance companies we contract with will provide, for free, Colorado State approved workers compensation posters for your wall in the employee area. It is very important that these posters are posted in an area easily visible to your workers. Our dedicated team of insurance experts will go the extra mile for you. With experienced customer service representatives for both commercial and personal lines, you will always have someone to answer your questions. We are here when you need us! Our agency’s goal is to provide our customers with unparalleled protection and affordability.

Can you take care of the rest of our business insurance, the business auto, general liability, commercial umbrella, bonding?

What Does Workers Compensation Cover?

Workers Compensation Insurance covers injuries that your employees get “on the job.” Let’s say your employee is lifting a desk, as part of their job, and they hurt their back. That employee is now in a situation where they might need to see a doctor. Workers compensation insurance would cover that cost. In addition, your employee might need to take time off from work. While there are some restrictions and limitations, your workers compensation insurance policy could cover that time off. Perhaps your employee now needs to have physical therapy or rehabilitation or becomes permanently disabled? Your workers compensation insurance policy could help cover those expenses, too!

Reduced Premiums Through Cost Containment

The workers compensation insurance carriers we contract with all offer cost containment discounts. If your premium is sizeable and you are interested in cost containment certification, we can help you get there.

Other Available Discounts

Workers compensation insurance carriers in the state of Colorado offer other discounts, such as deductible discounts and designated provider discounts. Some companies also offer schedule credits.  Are you aware of your “Modification Factor?”  It is interesting that many businesses, while they are aware that if they have claims, the rate goes up, but they don’t always understand that in addition to the base rate, there is a “mod” factor that increases or decreases that rate by a multiplier. In addition, with some companies, if the mod is low, they may offer you a lower “rating tier.” All good reasons to understand how your mod factor influences the rate you pay.
